Something Monumental

My first blog ever. I would love to say something profound, or even something interesting that is going on in my life, but there's really not much to say. I'm striving for simplicity at this point in my life, though it seems an impossible goal. I'm trying my best to enjoy where I am and what I'm doing, whatever it may be at that moment. I'm trying not to seek happiness in futile things, but in the solid foundation of the Lord. And finally, I recently discovered the Great Salt Bay preserve where I live in Maine and can't believe I had never been. So beautiful. I must go more often.
